What is Reflexology and how may it help you?
Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary health therapy that involves applying pressure to areas on the feet (or hands) which is done using thumbs, finger and hand massage techniques. It is based on a theory that these body parts are connected to certain organs and body systems and by applying pressure to these parts of the body, offers a range of health benefits including to help your body work better and ease stress.
The benefits of reflexology include;

Reduces stress & anxiety

Reduces pain

Lifts mood

Improves general well-being
What is Fertility Reflexology and how may it help women?
This treatment works by promoting the hormonal feedback loop helping it to communicate properly. The pituitary gland hypothalamus and ovaries need to communicate properly for the body to conceive and if there is an imbalance it can make it difficult to do so. Reproductive/fertility reflexology is designed to help the body do this.
How does Fertility Reflexology treatment work for women?
Every woman's cycle is individual and will be unique to her. Fertility reflexology is adapted and personalised to focus on the individual conditions specific to each client and any dysfunctions of the menstrual cycle will be addressed within the programme. The initial treatment involves weekly treatment and a specific prescriptive protocol throughout one entire menstrual cycle. Once the cycle is regulated a maintenance programme will be followed.
Fertility reflexology can also be used alongside and in preparation for assisted fertility treatments such as IVF, ICSI and medicated cycles.

Fertility Massage treatment
Fertility massage is a gentle abdominal massage that may help to promote the hormonal feedback and loop the communication between the pituitary hypothalamus and ovaries which is vital if conception is to happen.
It may help to increase circulation to the ovaries, clear out congestion, reduce inflammation and promote hormonal balance.
Some of the dysfunctions of the menstrual cycle could be:

Progesterone Deficiency

Painful Periods

Heavy Periods

Fibroids

Endometriosis

PCOS

Ovarian Cysts

How does Fertility Reflexology treatment work for men?
Male fertility has continued to decline in the past 25 years due to high stress levels, oestrogen from the contraceptive pill in our water, exposure to phyto-oestrogens and poor diet.
If couples have been having trouble conceiving for a long time it is important that their partner has a semen analysis to make sure that everything is healthy with their sperm. If this has not been done you could end up working with the female; when from a fertility perspective they are actually perfectly healthy. Regular fertility reflexology treatments may help to support the body to stimulate healthy sperm and along with a healthy diet and lifestyle, improve the chances of conceiving.
Unhealthy sperm may be the cause of 33% of miscarriages.
The following male conditions may be helped with reproflexology/fertility reflexology;

Sperm abnormalities

Hormone imbalances

Low Testosterone

Varicocele

Vasectomy Reversal

Hydrocele (swollen scrotum)

Prostatitis

Testicular cancer (2 years after the end of chemotherapy)
What is Reflexology for Women’s Hormonal Health and how may it help?
I have a special interest in female health after my own personal menopausal journey. I discovered the power of nutrition and reflexology 15 years ago after experiencing symptoms I didn’t realise were related to hormonal imbalances.
Within a month of following a personal nutrition plan and having regular reflexology treatments, tailored to my needs, the dramatic change in my energy, mood, sleep and confidence made me feel like a new woman.

Reflexology for women's hormonal health aims to support the unique aspects that influence all levels of women's femininity.
Reflexology is a safe, natural therapy that can help both girls and women from the onset of menstruation, right through to the post menopause period.
As much as we need hormones to function they do confuse us sometimes. Stress and some of the pressures women face can play a big part in hormonal upset.
Reflexology may help promote blood flow to our whole body, including our endocrine system which can be compromised by illness and the stress of modern life.
