The Therapy Room is owned and run by myself, Kim Geeves.
I have over 20 years experience as a therapist in massage and reflexology and extensive training in deep tissue massage, soft tissue release and trigger point therapy.
I am also qualified in delivering structural and remedial massage, holistic massage, reflexology, reflexology for women's and men's health and fertility abdominal massage.
My Story
I qualified in massage in 2000 after being on a charity bike ride in China in 1999. I was massaging my fellow cyclists each evening after our mammoth rides every day. I was an amateur usually just massaging family. I was convinced to train as a massage therapist. Since first training I have gone on to train in many different techniques which enables me to work with clients that have many different issues helping them to get relief from pain. I am a trained reflexologist and I have trained with the renowned Barbara Scott at Seren Natural Fertility and as a result of this training, I now provide Fertility Reflexology known as ‘Reproflexology’ to help increase a couples chance of conceiving along with reflexology for women's health.
I am also a member of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists. I have a special interest in female health after my own personal menopausal journey. I discovered the power of nutrition and reflexology 15 years ago after experiencing symptoms I didn’t realise were related to hormonal imbalances.
Having run a Health food shop in the 90's and having a long standing passion for nutrition; I added Nutritional Therapy to my to qualifications. I now work with clients with many health issues using the power of food to help them heal.
I am also a fully qualified B12 technician offering clients B12 shots which may give you more energy and boost your metabolism, helping to shed unwanted pounds.
